Taking a leaf out of Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughan's book ala the Wedding Crashers movie, Maroon 5 surprised random brides and grooms across LA with an impromptu performance of their slinky funk-pop song "Sugar". Oh, guess what... Wedding Crashers' director David Dobkin directed the clip.

I didn't think much about the clip when I first saw it popped up all over my Twitter feed. But as I watched it, I cannot help but be amused at the initial puzzled curiosity that the newly-weds and their guests shown. There was a man who was even acting in a defensive manner when he saw the "intruders". When the white backdrop falls, all the puzzling stars turned into a range of emotions, from deer-in-the-headlights shock to hyperventilating glee. But mostly, it was the newly-weds elation and happiness that moved me the most. I love that they included weddings from different cultures as well.

Amidst a sea of elaborately staged music videos, "Sugar" is a breath of fresh air. The song itself is one of the best since "Can't Go Home Without You". Watch it if you have 5 minutes to spare. It will definitely make you feel warm and fuzzy inside..

  3. Yeah maroon is such colorful theme for a wedding event. I have attended various wedding that had been organized using this color scheme. It is my favorite color so I was also thinking to use this theme for my big day. First of all I will book the best Chicago wedding venues and then will decide the perfect theme that would go with this color scheme.
