Let’s face it, I suck at blogging. I’m terrible in updating my blog, but my lame excuse is this: I had been offline, sourcing content to share. So, this post is a throwback of sorts to share the delicious, scrumptious feast Steve and I had at Nobu, Melbourne back in October to celebrate our anniversary.

I won’t bore you with the details, since Nobu is pretty much and institution itself for Japanese fusion cuisine. But let’s just say that every course was a delicious surprise. It's hard to say which is my favourite, because the nine-course meal was extremely well-planned and executed. My tastebuds were treated to flavours and sensations it has never experienced before! The seafood was sweet and velvety soft, the beef tataki was outstanding and melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and the black cod was simply delicious! Throughout the nine courses all I could do was marvelled at the ingenious chefs for turning the beautiful ingredients into such delicious dishes. There were no bells and whistles, but complex layers of flavours that left me wanting more.
